Mya and I made it to 6:30 mass this morning in an attempt to start lent on the right foot :)
I am not giving up anything this year but I am making an effort to be more positive. I feel like lately I have let the small bumps in the road to take over the bigger picture. I am going to post on FB - I will probably blog it too - something positive or something that I am thankful for. Today, I am grateful for my faith.
I'm not giving anything up either. When I first started at my school, the school's parish priest said that it didn't mean anything because you just replace it with something else. You are better to do something extra instead. This year, I am trying to be more understanding.
