So we all have those people in our lives, whether close or not, that think WLS is a crazy option.  I recently had another issue with someone at work.  It is a drastic decision, yes, but crazy – not really.  It got me to thinking and then I came across this link today.
So really is the LapBand or other WLS really that crazy – no, it is a tool, I eat 1200 to 1500 calories a day, and am not constantly in starvation mode.  While it is surgery and aside from those associated risks, I don’t think it is that much worse for you then some of the diets listed in the link (admittedly, I have tried more than one of them).

Urgh - we were running late for school this morning so I completely forgot to take a pic.  I was at 214 so only down -.6. Not the best. 

I saw 211 on Sat but I ate way to much yesterday.

Weekend Recap and some pics!

One of my good friends came in from Boston to baptize her baby girl Lily.  Here is Mya and I.....

I actually went out Saturday night!  I got invited out by one of the moms on Mya's team.... totally self conscious because they are all skinny and hot.  I almost didn't go because of how bad I was feeling about myself...  but glad I did.  Had tons of fun!  Not really used to drinking anymore though :)

I have a younger brother.  We do not really have a relationship as he is an addict and in prison.

2. Let’s talk pizza. Do you prefer homemade or restaurant? What toppings are your fave?

I am not a huge fan of pizza but I like papa john’s thin crust veggie.  

3. When is the last time you cried – in sadness and in joy?

In sadness – a few weeks ago when I learned my BFF was moving…. No idea when I have cried tears of joy.

4. Do you own a gun – one that is specifically yours? Do you know how to use it?

Nope – they scare me!!  Lots of people in AZ carry them though.

Work, work, work….  Nothing exciting, just the daily grind.

Why I am not losing like I should……

I feel the need to write this down so that I can see it in black and white.  

(1)    Not following the bandster rules for eating.  I am eating too fast and too much.
(2)    Not getting enough protein.
(3)    Not exercising.
(4)    Lack of water.
(5)    SLIDER FOODS!!!!
(6)    Allowing myself things I know I should not have – diet soda.  While that itself may not be horrible, it is the fact that I had rock hard will power and now I am slipping.

These are in no order and out there now…..  Let’s get back on track now!
