The big goal in more ways than one….



As some of you know, I am doing the breast cancer 3day in November.  I have been walking here and there – trying to so approximately 12 miles a week.  On May 27, the big 24 week training starts.  The training program consists of cross training and a whole lotta walking.  During this 24 week period, I should walk 580 miles (not including the 65 miles of the actual 3day)!  I intend to walk all of those miles. 

So here are the goals:



(1)    Lose 1-2 lbs per week during the training period putting me at a goal weight of between 198.6 – 174.6 at the end of the 24 weeks.
(2)    Complete all 580 training miles on schedule.
(3)    Complete the 3day!!!!!!

***I need to raise $2,300 to participate in the Komen 3day.  If you can donate even a $1.00 it would really help!  Below is my site so you can check out why I decided to participate in this awesome event.

  4. Fabulous goals! I miss the training walks even though I found them somewhat painful at the beginning. You'll do great. Good luck!
