Changing focus!

Instead of focusing on the number on the scale, I am focusing on how I feel and hoping that the weight loss will be a welcomed "side effect" of good eating and exercise. 

I have been doing Crossfit 2-3x a week for about a month now.  I continue to love it!! It is amazingly hard but short, quick and efficient!  I have never felt so comfortable during a workout - everyone is so nice and encouraging.

I know that there is a lot of varying opinions about Crossfit.  Here are two articles that I have read that both make a lot of sense to me having tried it.

Obsessed with Crossfit!

I joined, I love it.  It is kick ass, I feel amazingly powerful when I am done.  I think this is the workout for me.  I love feeling like my legs are jello after a workout. I have also been going to the regular gym since I signed up for the 90 day challenge.

I have been on par with eating lately, too.  Making that push for these 76lbs :) I have been to scared to weigh-in though - if the scale hasn't moved I might loose my motivation so I am staying away from it for a few weeks.

Awesome Food Discovery!!!



I found these prepackaged meals called GoPicnic - I got a Groupon but I believe they have them at target.  It is pre portioned and does not have to be refrigerated.  The only one I have tried is the hummus and crackers but it is perfect bandster size (for me) and it has 19g of protein.  It works for me when I don't have time to meal prep.


They have a huge variety and are worth it!!!

Soccer mom – basically everything outside of work is based around Mya and her soccer/ballet/extra circular stuff and I LOVE every minute of it!!

I'll keep this general.  I love so many of you out there!! You are a great source of support, inspiration and a way to vent!!  I am glad I have met so many in this blogging community and I am super fortunate to have met some of these lovely ladies in person and they have become real life friends!!!
