This has literally been torture lately!!! I have been under work stress and home stress and it is like the constant desire to eat is just the icing on the cake (HA). Any tips for coping and not being miserable! Food addiction is a difficult thing to conquer.
I can only tell you that I am using Phentermine right now. My Dr subscribed it after I healed from the band removal. It works wonders. Two months this Thursday that I have been on it and I have no hunger, and no cravings!
ReplyDeleteI hope it gets better for you!
Everyone keeps telling me about the Phentermine as well... haven't tried it, but I eat when I can't take it. Sometimes it'll be just grab something to eat like fruit or veggie slices, piece of cheese, or something along those lines. Sometimes you just can't fight it.
ReplyDeleteI wish I did. Just make sure you do eat regularly, and have protein-packed snacks handy. I always keep a protein bar in my purse for emergencies, and that keeps me in check. I know if I'm not willing to eat that, I'm not really hungry!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ronnie on this one. I carry a protein bar in my purse too. And I know if I am truly hungry because I will eat it. I also try to keep carrots and cut up veggies on hand. They are "free" food so I eat them if I am snacky...there is no limit on veggies.
